The City.People.Light program is an open platform that enables lighting professionals around the globe to research and promote the role of lighting in urban environments.
It all started in 1996 as a research project aimed at exploring the potential to use light in urban environments. At that time, the findings of research were already inspiring many lighting professionals to develop exciting new illumination concepts. And since then, these concepts have been transforming the way our cities are designed and illuminated.
Today, the aim of the program is to continue engaging with lighting professionals from all around the world, supporting creative projects and exploring the relationships between the elements ‘city’, ‘people’ and ‘light’.
