Philips Lighting Academy and School of Planning & Architecture (SPA) present training programs on lighting principles, design and application for working professionals connected with lighting.


After grand success of this course in past and demand for more such programs, we are coming with yet another session.


This is a 2.5-day foundation-level course titled LIGHT & LIGHTING to be held at the SPA premises in Delhi . The course will be conducted jointly by distinguished subject-matter experts from Philips Lighting and SPA in the classroom format and will, amongst other things, entail lectures, interactive case studies, a hands-on lighting design exercises and a certification test.

Core Objectives & learner-gains


The core objectives of this foundation-level course will be to develop as well as refresh fundamental knowledge of lighting theory, new lighting technologies like LEDs, lighting design, innovation and application trends in the target learner groups. With dynamics of lighting industry undergoing transformation, it is imperative to be in tune to make the best use of skills.


LIGHT & LIGHTING will enable and empower participants to gain a sound knowledge of the basics of lighting theory, LEDs, controls, design and multivariate applications. The power of knowledge will, in turn, help generate healthy, confident and productive customer-interfaces.
